Club Grand Slam is operated by the original, and still the best Ascension Bay guide family, the Caamal Brothers. The three brothers have over sixty years combined guiding experience. Together they have guided fly anglers to over 2,000 permit and over 1,000 Grand Slams.

As full partners/operators/guides they have a vested interest in everything being the best possible experience for you. Unlike other local lodges that neither own skiffs nor employ guides, and merely run to town and book a guide after receiving your deposit.

We fish with two guides in every skiff, giving you an extra pair of eyes and hands while out on the water. Fishing out of super pangas of 23 feet that can run as swallow as eight inches of water, you go where the fish are.

 All skiffs use water proof UHF radios (that get updates on weather and communicate with home base, guides can communicate when separated during wade fishing) and have first aid kits on board.
